What we found

  • A large installation across residents’ rooms, the nursing station, kitchen and day rooms, tested board by board around the home’s routine
  • A handful of routine items to tidy up, as you’d expect in a busy care home, all listed in the report with a price to put them right
  • A door entry spur in a spot where it was easily knocked, worth moving

What we did

  • Carried out the 2024 EICR across the home’s distribution boards, working around residents and staff
  • In April 2025, completed the follow-up works from the report across the boards
  • Fitted new dimmer switches in the day room and a new faceplate in the kitchen, and relabelled the boards
  • Answered call-outs: an isolator fault, a damaged faceplate and a new socket
  • In September 2025, fitted two Ubiquiti CCTV cameras on the red-brick wing, cabled through the loft from labelled, tested data outlets, with the camera angles agreed with the home on site

Equipment used

  • Ubiquiti CCTV cameras
  • Fluke multifunction tester
