Electrician in Wembley.
Employed, NICEIC-registered engineers carrying out EICRs and electrical work across Wembley, Alperton and Wembley Park.

Our work in Wembley
Since June 2025 our engineers have been instructed on 73 jobs at 69 addresses in HA0 and HA9 postcodes. That is a real count from our job system, not a marketing figure.
- EICRs on homes for Wates, as part of our Brent EICR programme: 70 inspections so far.
- Commercial electrical installation work.
Brent’s homes
More than half of Brent’s households live in flats, and more than a third rent privately. One in six households is in a flat in a converted house, with shared supplies and older wiring to check.
| Census 2021 | Share of households |
|---|---|
| Owner-occupied (including shared ownership) | 40.3% |
| Rented from the council or a housing association | 23.5% |
| Rented privately | 36.2% |
| Living in a flat or maisonette | 56.7% |
Brent has 22 conservation areas, including Wembley High Street.
Licensing for Brent landlords
- Since 2 February 2026 all privately rented homes in Brent need a licence, apart from single-household homes in Wembley Park.
- Additional HMO licensing: the whole borough, from 2 February 2026 to 2 February 2031.
- Selective licensing: covers single lets across the rest of the borough, including Wembley Central, Wembley Hill and Tokyngton.
Schemes change, so always check with the council before you apply.
How we work
Our engineers are employed by SEG and NICEIC registered, and work from SEG House in Chiswell Green, St Albans, just off the M25 and M1. We plan work by area, so you get a fixed appointment, and every job is photographed with certificates you can file.
Landlords and agents can see what an EICR costs and ask about programme rates. Housing providers and contractors, see housing providers and sheltered housing repairs. Privately rented homes in England need an EICR at least every five years, with any remedial work done within 28 days.

Does Brent want an EICR with the licence application?
Brent’s application asks for a gas safety certificate and an EPC. You still need an EICR at least every five years by law, so keep it up to date.

Yes. See our Brent EICR programme: 231 EICRs at 221 addresses for Wates since July 2024.
