Electrical and data work for hotels.

Data cabling, Wi-Fi infrastructure, room TVs, CCTV, EV charging and compliance testing, planned around your guests.

Radio bridge on a hotel clubhouse roof

Hotels can’t close for the electrician. Rooms are booked, the bar is open and the conference room is in use. We plan work around your occupancy, keep guest areas clean and quiet, and finish each room before we move on.

What we do for hotels

  • Data cabling and comms rooms: Cat6 to rooms, suites and back-of-house, new cabinets, and maintenance of existing ones. See data cabling.
  • Wi-Fi infrastructure: access points in rooms and public areas, outdoor access points, and radio bridges to link outbuildings, cottages and clubhouses.
  • Room TVs and AV: mounting and connecting guest-room TVs, reception screens and conference room displays.
  • CCTV and door entry: cameras and door entry for entrances, car parks and back doors.
  • EV charging for guests and staff: EV chargers.
  • Safety and compliance: emergency lighting, fire alarms, fixed wire testing and PAT testing.
  • Maintenance and repairs: planned maintenance and call-outs when something fails.

How we work in a hotel

  1. Survey first. We walk the site, find the comms racks and the cable routes, and agree which rooms are free and when.
  2. Room by room. Each room or suite is finished before we leave it: trunking lidded, holes fire-sealed, dust gone.
  3. Access sorted. We bring the right access equipment for outdoor and high-level work, and plan around the weather.
  4. Working with your providers. If you have an IT or Wi-Fi company, we do the physical work and test with them on site.
  5. Photo report. Every visit ends with a report showing what we did, room by room.

Example: Dallas Burston Polo Club

Since January 2025 we have worked across Dallas Burston Polo Club, the country hotel and polo club near Southam, Warwickshire: new data cabling and access points through the suites, radio bridges to the clubhouse from an access platform, 20 tested data points and room TVs in a new guest-room block, and planned maintenance of the main comms cabinets.

Questions we’re asked

Do you work on hotels outside Hertfordshire?

Yes. We are based in St Albans and work across the Home Counties and London, and further afield for larger projects, such as a hotel estate in Warwickshire.

Can you install hotel Wi-Fi?

We install the infrastructure: data cabling, comms cabinets, access points, outdoor units and radio bridges between buildings. We can work with your existing Wi-Fi provider, or recommend one.

Can work be done without closing rooms?

Usually. We agree which rooms are free each day and finish each one before moving on, so rooms go back into service the same day.

Do you do hotel electrical maintenance?

Yes: emergency lighting and fire alarm testing, fixed wire testing, PAT testing, planned maintenance and repairs.
